Our methodology conforms to guidelines established by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and leverages and applies our combined knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to successfully meet our customer project requirements.

The ability to quickly and efficiently manage a business objective to its conclusion, or deploy new technologies and processes, is a key goal of the TSTC project management methodology. Our team offers comprehensive, flexible, and effective project management to ensure projects achieve client objectives and expectations.

TSTC understands the impact projects can have on an organization's productivity, finances, and operations and we understand the pressures on technical staff, managers, and executive staff. TSTC project management services are unique because our project managers understand both the technical and the business dimensions of Information Technology thus providing well rounded services with the highest quality project management. The TSTC project management methodology has been proven to show tangible positive results in project cost and scheduling and enable us to be responsive to our customer's program needs.

Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)

TSTC provides Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of policies and procedures; requirements, designs, studies, and research; and critical IT systems and infrastructures. We bring a vendor neutral view to such assessments, led by individuals who have conducted audits and due diligence reviews. Our staff possesses a substantial amount of business, project, risk management, security, performance evaluation, hardware, and software experience which provides a total systems engineering approach to IV&V.

Our approach to IV&V is not theoretical principle; rather, it is based on extensive experience, common sense, and best practices. We have found that our approach allows us to ensure that solutions are developed for today's problems according to user requirements and that the architecture readily allows for changes to support tomorrow's business needs. Further differentiating our IV&V expertise are our documented processes for Risk Management, Quality Management and Change Management that support every project.

Quality Assurance

TSTC provides services and deliverables that meet strict quality assurance guidelines. Our core competencies in project management, IV&V, and documentation, combined with our ISO 9001:2008 policies and procedures, provide an assurance of quality performance in all our activities and deliverables. This claim is backed by our reputation for competence and performance with our customers.

At the heart of our quality assurance program is the TSTC Quality Management System (TQMS) which is focused on performance excellence. The framework of the TQMS provides project managers with guidance in identifying and planning project-related activities, maintaining and sustaining consistency in project management approaches, and project documentation across the organization. This framework contributes to continual quality improvement through increasing efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, it reduces risk in the event personnel changes are required and reduces the learning curves when new personnel are introduced to a project.

The TSTC commitment to quality assurance based upon continually improving and repeatable processes and procedures validates our ability to deliver quality services and ensure perpetual success for our customers.
