TSTC awarded contract to perform Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support to DHS Science and Technology (S&T)
Fairfax, VA. (December 22, 2008) - Total Systems Technologies Corporation (TSTC) announced today that it has been awarded a performance-based contract with our teaming partner Professional Solutions (ProSol) to support the C&A of the S&T and U.S. Coast Guard Visualization Tools for Situational Awareness and Emergency Response (VizTools) system. A critical aspect in the development of these tools is conducting the appropriate level of C&A to ensure system security and access to appropriate data networks. To achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) VizTools must achieve NIST 800 C&A. The TSTC-ProSol team was selected in part to their in-depth knowledge of DHS, the Coast Guard, and the DHS FISMA compliance process, as well as their proven in-depth DHS C&A expertise.
