TSTC Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification for all Operating Units
Fairfax, VA. (March 12, 2007) - Total Systems Technologies Corporation (TSTC) announced today that it has achieved Certification to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2000 Standard. The accreditation was given to TSTC by Quality Systems Registrars, Inc (QSR) after assessing and rating the TSTC Quality Management System following the QSR comprehensive 10 point certification process. TSTC is one of the few small businesses to achieve this distinction.
The ISO Organization began in 1947 and is one of the world's largest networks of standards institutes, comprising approximately 148 countries. ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003 have been integrated into the new, improved ISO 9001:2000, which specifies requirements for a quality management system. ISO 9001:2000 provides a system of practices and principles for an organization to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements with the ultimate goal of enhancing customer satisfaction. The ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard is part of the ISO 9000 and 14000 families which are among the most widely known and successful standards ever. The ISO 9001:2000 standard has become an internationally recognized reference for ensuring the highest possible quality in business to business dealings.
